Nic Brisbourne, Managing Partner Forward Partners

Nic has 15 years experience in the venture capital industry and prior to founding Forward Partners in June 2013, was a Partner at leading venture capital firm DFJ Esprit. He has worked and invested in London and Silicon Valley, leading over 25 investments and enjoying a number of successful exits including buy.at (acquired by AOL for $125m) and Zeus Technology (acquired by Riverbed for $140m). Nic also authors Europe's most popular VC blog: The Equity Kicker.

William Lorenz, Co-Founder of Kwanji

William has a wealth of experience in the fintech world and a track record of building successful companies. Prior to Kwanji he was a founder of Ixaris which is now a £300M turnover company built on his compliance, payments and banking expertise.

Damien Lane, Partner Episode1

Prior to Episode 1, Damien was a member of the Ventures team at Octopus Investments, where he was responsible for a number of investments in a range of areas. Damien also spent 18 years in the private equity industry, with both Electra Partners and Cognetas. Damien has an MBA from Cambridge University and a Masters degree in PPE from Oxford University.

James Tuckett, Founder of InvestUp

James founded UP, the one stop shop for crowdfunding, two years ago. James’ goal is to make UP the leading platform within the global crowdfunding industry. To aid with this James has assembled an executive team, an advisory board and a supporting group of experts to help design and build UP. Over the past three years, he has been intricately involved in designing and implementing solutions to address inherent problems within the growing crowdfunding industry. He has helped design a unique and as yet un-copied aggregator.
