Panelists:

Kirsty Macdonald, Early Stage Investor, Jamjar Investments.

Kirsty is an Early Stage Investor at JamJar Investments, the innocent drinks founders’ private venture capital fund, which looks to help and invest in disruptive consumer-facing companies, both online and offline. Past deals include Graze, Deliveroo, Dojo, Farmdrop, Chronext and Tails.com. Prior to JamJar, Kirsty trained at consumer goods giant Unilever working on marketing and customer analytics across a variety of brands within their personal care and food portfolios. She holds a BA in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Global Politics from The London School of Economics.

James Carter , CFO and Co - Founder of Gousto.
After 3 years in investment banking and 2 years at a private equity fund, James cofounded Gousto.co.uk in 2012 where he built and managed the marketing, finance, CRM and digital product teams up over 4 years. James left Gousto at the end of 2015 following which he has been consulting with various startups, including 5 months at Deliveroo most recently.

Fernando Fanton, Chief Product Officer at JustEat
Fernando joined JUST EAT in March 2016 as Chief Product and Technology Officer. After graduating with a computer science degree, Fernando joined Microsoft as a graduate in its Redmond headquarters where he stayed for six years. He left Microsoft to undertake an MBA at Wharton Business School and joined Goldman Sachs as an intern while studying. From Wharton, he spent almost three years as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. In 2012 Fernando joined Elsevier in New York as Head of Technology Strategy, and during 2013 set up Mendeley.com in London where he was a SVP Global Product and Technology.

Henry Joseph- Grant, Angel Investor, Tech Startup Adviser
Henry is founder of PeaceTech and an adviser to startups, VC / Private Equity funds globally. Henry is an angel investor and mentors for several accelerators/funds including Seedcamp and PiLabs.Previously, Henry helped to build JUST EAT from early stage startup to IPO and has worked for and with many other tech startups, developing deep expertise in Marketplaces, Food Tech, Local and On Demand.

Paul Dowling is the CEO and co-founder of Dreamstake. He is working with the 1,000 plus startups on the platform to obtain funding from VCs and angel investors. Before launching Dreamstake Paul was a Managing Consultant with Cap Gemini and was previously involved in Business Development for Racal and Lego. He has a total of 25 years experience of tech. Dreamstake is his third startup. He has an MBA from Kingston University and is a regular speaker at startup conferences.
